Westin-Copley Place – Boston, Massachusetts
Great Back Bay location. Large venue for conferences, good food, large clean rooms
-
Westin NYC Grand Central – New York
Big disappointment. There was a homeless man who was loitering in the lobby, right in front of the security guards and the lock to my room didn’t work properly.
-

Marriott – Amsterdam, Netherlands
Great location, nice room ultimately but had to change twice due to smell. Good food, friendly service, has coin-operated laundry room.
-
Sheraton Four Points – Milan, Italy
Small, basic hotel. Relatively newly built. Clean rooms. Nice, convenient location.
-
Sheraton-Palo Alto – California
Great location, clean but dated rooms, nice outdoor area. Right near Stanford University. Nice concierge floor breakfast buffet.
-
Sir Francis Drake – San Francisco, California
Downtown location. Hotel décor is a bit over the top. Lots of black and red. Rooms aren’t impressive. They have a doorman dressed up, possibly as Sir Frances Drake?
-
Marriott-Monterey – California
Average Marriott, close to Fisherman’s Wharf. Food isn’t great. Clean rooms.
-
Sheraton-Petaluma – California
Newer but not fancy hotel. Has coin-operated laundry. Gorgeous area, it’s like Tuscany in the USA. Downtown Petaluma has great restaurants.
-
Westin-Boston Waterfront – Massachusetts
Newer hotel, clean rooms, good food, seaport area, lots of restaurants and venues within easy walk, short ride to Back Bay Boston area.
