Sheraton Four Points – Milan, Italy
Small, basic hotel. Relatively newly built. Clean rooms. Nice, convenient location.

Hop-on-Hop-Off Milan-Italy
A bit expensive for what it is, but it’s a decent experience if not a bit cheesy to ride in a double-decker bus around town; the top floor is open-air.

Al Tavolino – Milan, Italy
Fantastic restaurant. The restaurant is very nice inside, but we sat outside on a beautiful day. Had a fantastic pizza and salad. I remember thinking, “Why can’t they do this well in the US…
-
Bastianello – Milan, Italy
Old-school, comfy restaurant serving wonderful “cicchetti” which is the Italian version of tapas or dim sum. Convenient location near the Duomo.
-
Hotel Garni Corona – Menaggio, Italy
Small gem in the center of town. Best to get a room with a view of Lake Como. Renovated, clean, but tiny rooms. Highly recommended.
-
Radisson Blu – Milan, Italy
and June 2017 Not up to the standards of other Radisson Hotels. Boring location in Milan. Room had an odor, poor ventilation and A/C. Shower drain didn’t work well.
-
Sheraton Four Points – Padova, Italy
Clean rooms, good food for a Four Points. Inexpensive hotel, 5-minute car ride to Venice. Great way to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Venice if you’re on a budget.
-
Sheraton-Lake Como – Como, Italy
Clean, beautiful, newer hotel, very good food. There are no views of Lake Como, and it’s not in a quaint area. Need a car.
